Hamachi VPN Service
Hamachi is a hosted VPN service that allows you to extend LAN-like networks over the internet to distributed teams, home workers and gamers. Hamachi runs on top of your existing WAN infrastructure, such as a firewall or proxy server, to create secure virtual tunnels. You can manage your virtual networks, connect and disconnect clients from the network, control bandwidth and security policies, and access and share files remotely.
Like other carangids, hamachi has a slim body and can reach lengths of up to 100 cm (39 inches). Their heads have large eyes and terminal mouths that are designed for crushing crustaceans and molluscs. They are fast swimmers and have been observed migrating over long distances to feed or spawn. Hamachi is a valuable species that supports both commercial and subsistence fisheries throughout its range. However, overfishing has been identified as a major threat to its sustainability.
In Japan, hamachi is an especially popular ingredient for sushi and sashimi dishes. It can be sliced thinly and served with soy sauce or wasabi. Alternatively, it can be used to make donburi dishes, where it is wrapped with seaweed and rice.
Because of its firm texture and high-fat content, hamachi can also be pan-seared or grilled for a delicious main dish. Its mild flavour makes it a good choice for marinades, as well. To enjoy hamachi at its best, cook it for a short time on each side at high heat. Serve with accompaniments, such as sliced pickles or cucumbers, to complement its flavour.
